Your Opinion Counts...
This November, New Yorkers will elect a new governor. With global competition intensifying and the pace of technological change accelerating, it is essential that the new administration put a plan in place that supports New York’s businesses so they can compete and win in the 21st Century. I am sure you agree that such a plan has to reflect the priorities of the companies, civic organizations, and other key institutions in New York that are on the frontline of globalization and technological change.
In 1994, a “white paper” by the New York State Economic Development Council (NYSEDC) played a major role in shaping the economic development policies for then Governor-elect George Pataki. Once again, NYSEDC wants to put forward policy suggestions that are formulated by the best thinking in the State and reflect the concerns and priorities of opinion leaders throughout New York. That’s why we need your help! Please take a few minutes an fill out this survey. We are trying to reach out to business, economic development, university, and business association leaders, as well as school superintendents and local elected officials.
The survey can be accessed at the following URL: http://www.nysedc.org/memcenter/survey_results_new.asp
Thanks for helping NYSEDC and thanks for helping New York.
-Brian McMahon, President, NYSEDC
