100th Anniversary Kick-off Celebration at Watkins Glen State Park

100^TH ANNIVERSARY KICKOFF CELEBRATION. Kick off a summer of fun to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of Watkins Glen State Park! Join park staff for:

· Live music
· 100th Anniversary celebration ceremony at 2:00 p.m.
· Half-hour guided gorge walks to Cavern Cascade at 1:15, 3:15 and 4:15.
· Exhibits highlighting park history
· A “safari” to explore park wildlife. Get your passbook stamped at 10 exhibit stations and win a prize!
· Refreshments available for purchase.
· Complementary wine tasting by several Seneca Lake wineries and complementary cheese tasting by Sunset Creamery.

This event will take place in the park’s Main Entrance parking lot off Franklin Street. There is no fee for this event, but a $7 vehicle entrance fee may still apply.

The celebration will continue all summer. Look for scheduled programs offered in the park, including weekly guided gorge tours, a Wednesday evening history lecture series from July 5^th through August 30^th, and Friday evening nature programs from July 7^th through September 1^st.
